The stresses of COVID have impacted them
The pandemic has been a challenge for many people, but for one group of professionals the stress, fatigue, crippling debt and moral dilemmas have been weighing heavily on them for far too long.
Veterinarians have been silently battling through the pandemic while continuing to work during one of the most stressful and demanding times.
"Unfortunately, it feels like it's very cyclical that we are constantly grieving weekly, monthly," Dr. Mariana Pardo, a veterinarian from Long Island explains. "We are losing some type of veterinary staff, whether that is a veterinarian, a veterinary technician, a receptionist, someone that is working in the veterinary field."
