Troy named ‘Legislator of the Year’ by OAAAA

He was chosen because of his support of the association’s budget priorities

State Rep. Daniel P. Troy, D-Willowick, was recently named “Legislator of the Year” by the Ohio Association of Area Agencies on Aging (OAAAA).

The association’s chief policy officer, Beth Kowalczyk, said in a statement Troy was chosen because of his support of the association’s budget priorities during the state’s budget process.

“The association acknowledged and thanked Rep. Troy at their 2021 conference for his continued work on improving senior citizen services funding and elder justice issues,” Kowalczyk said.
