COVID-19 Update: 5,731 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 5,731 new cases of COVID-19 and 298 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths from the virus. 

ODH also reported 1,683,472 confirmed cases, 26,483 deaths and 85,992 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,554,018 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 6,749,734 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents less than 58 percent of Ohioans - a very low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
