COVID-19 Update: 5,334 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 5,334 new cases of COVID-19 and 80 new hospitalizations. The agency didn't report any additional deaths.

ODH also reported 1,731,003 confirmed cases, 26,851 deaths and 87,776 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,584,213 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 6,811,987 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents approximately 58 percent of Ohioans - a very low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
