COVID-19 Update: 577 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 577 new COVID-19 cases and 18 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths from COVID.

The ODH also reported 2,653,211 confirmed cases, 36,580 deaths and 112,307 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,577,429 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,224,308 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine; this figure remains at 61 percent - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide. The national figure is 76.1 percent.
