Ohio BWC Announces $1.5 Million in Research Grants
The BWC has been operating the Research Program since 2017
Five Ohio research teams will share $1.5 million in grants through the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation's (BWC) Ohio Occupational Safety and Health Research Program.
The grants are awarded annually to fund research that maximizes impact on overall safety, health, productivity, and competitiveness of Ohio’s workforce. Each grant provides approximately $300,000 to the research team over a two-year period.
The BWC has been operating the Research Program since 2017. Since inception, it has funded 22 research projects, providing over $5 million in research grants to Ohio universities.
