Deb Benton Named Ohio University's Associate Provost for Student Success

She is a past president of the Ohio Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers

Ohio University Executive Vice President and Provost Dr. Elizabeth Sayrs recently named Deb Benton as associate provost for student success technology strategy.

Benton, who currently serves as university registrar, will begin her new role on Nov. 1, 2023. Senior Associate Registrar Bob Bulow has been named interim university registrar, effective Nov. 1.

"Deb Benton has already accomplished a great deal during her time at OHIO and I am looking forward to working with her in this new role," Sayrs said. "I am confident that she will continue to excel in this new position due to her knowledge, experience and dedication to helping our students succeed."
