Heat Advisory in Effect for Ohio
Heat indices could reach 105+ degrees this week
Tuesday marks the second day of a weeklong heat wave in Ohio that will bring temperatures in the high 90s.
A heat advisory has been issued for many Ohio counties until Friday at 8 p.m.
Here are some things to know about the heat wave:
- Extreme heat starts Monday, with the worst days expected to be Monday through Saturday.
- Heat indices will fall between 100-106 degrees with a possibility of feeling hotter.
- There is a possibility of thunderstorms and pop-up showers Monday and Tuesday which could help bring down the heat.
