Institute for Organization Management (IOM)
OSAP is dedicated to advancing the professional goals of its members, thereby increasing their competency, enhancing their career opportunities, and improving the quality of their professional life. We have partnered with the Institute for Organization Management to provide scholarships for incoming first year students to the IOM Program.
What is the IOM?
The Institute for Organization Management was designed to enhance individual performance, elevate professional standards, and recognize association, chamber of commerce, and other nonprofit professionals who demonstrate the knowledge essential to the practice of nonprofit management.
Additionally, the curriculum is tied to the CAE and CCE bodies of knowledge, allowing participants to earn credit for an industry certification in one simple step.
Its curriculum, comprised of four weeklong sessions, is taught by university professors, industry experts, and leading practitioners in the chamber and association industries. Each session is five days long and is offered at five locations across the country annually; allowing participants to choose which site or time of year best fits their schedule.
Pay It Forward - IOM Scholarship
OSAP will offer one (1) $500 scholarships that are intended to help participating OSAP members attend institute for the very first time. Scholarships assist with the cost of tuition only, and cannot be combined with other scholarships offered though the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management program
