It Is Illegal to Drive with Snow on Your Vehicle in Ohio

Clear snow from your windows, lights and license plate

The Ohio Department of Transportation reminds drivers to be prepared for inclement winter weather every year.

Sgt. Ryan Purpura with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said driving with snow covering your windows, lights and license plate is illegal.

According to Ohio Revised Code Section 4503.21, drivers cannot cover or obstruct the view of their license plate and validation stickers or temporary license registration.
