Consider Volunteering as a Judge at the 2025 Ohio Career Development Conference

The event is occurring March 11-12, 2025 in Columbus

The 2025 Ohio Career Development Conference will take place in Columbus, Ohio on March 11 and March 12. As a judge, your role would be to evaluate a student showcase of learning and skill through industry-relevant roleplays, business research projects and case study presentations. This year’s event will take place at the Hyatt Regency and Greater Columbus Convention Center.

Nearly 2,000 high school students have spent this school year preparing and competing at the regional level to earn the chance to compete at the state event. For a refresher on the judging experience, including event examples and videos, you can visit the DECA Inc. website at https://www.deca.org/judge. Parking and meals are provided.

Interested parties are encouraged to judge on one or both days of competition; there is also an opportunity to evaluate pre-submitted student work virtually in the weeks ahead of the competition. Please complete the 2025 CDC Jude Interest Form, and someone from the organization will follow up to confirm your judging assignment, including further instructions and sample rubrics for your event.

Ohio DECA is a high school career-technical student organization that offers co-curricular learning and experience in business fields such as marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, hospitality and tourism.
