Liv’s Law Strengthens Ohio's Drunken Driving Laws

The legislation officially goes into effect today

After four and a half years of fighting for action, Bryan and Teresa Wright joined Gov. Mike DeWine as he signed House Bill 37 into law, known as Liv’s Law.

The legislation officially goes into effect on April 9.

Liv’s Law tightens up many of Ohio’s drunken driving laws, specifically targeting repeat offenders, and increases penalties for drivers charged with aggravated vehicular homicide involving OVI.
