Laying the Groundwork

Sheri’s story began when she stumbled into the association world after college, not knowing it would become her lifelong career. She started as an assistant conference manager at the International Economic Development Council and quickly rose through the ranks, taking on roles such as conference manager, director of certification and senior director of education and certification. This diverse experience exposed her to all facets of association management, which she believes was crucial in preparing her for future leadership positions.
