This comes down to the manager's ability to manage different personality types
Why settle for being a good manager when you can be a great one? When you are a great manager, you can impact lives and propel members of your team to have successful careers. Become the type of manager whom people seek advice from and also consider a friend. This is what I like to call the art of managing diverse personalities.
A great manager aims to guide their team in making meaningful contributions to the company while fostering a reciprocal relationship with internal and external collaborators. Becoming a great manager takes patience and a lot of understanding. A manager's main role is to encourage their team members to leverage their strengths and to achieve common goals. However, a lot of this comes down to the manager's ability to manage different personality types and to recognize and appreciate the diverse ways individuals think, act and communicate.
As a manager with experience in Hollywood as a producer and in both the action sports and restaurant industries, I understand the nuances of diverse workplace dynamics. I have always placed individuals at the heart of my process, as I firmly believe that human dignity is restored through a renewed understanding of conscience. Labor enhances human dignity and the emotional connections that flow from it.
