Thousands of AEP Ohio Customers without Power in Franklin County after Weekend Storms
The energy giant's failing infrastructure continues to impact customers
Thousands of people are without power as strong storms move through central Ohio on Saturday afternoon and into the evening.
As of 2 p.m. Sunday, AEP Ohio is reporting that more than 2,900 outages are in Franklin County. There are also some outages in Ross and Madison counties. AEP said the areas which were most impacted by outages included northeast, northwest and southwest Columbus.
Nearly 25,000 outages in Franklin County and around 1,500 outages in Licking County were reported during the storm system's peak, according to AEP.
