New Ag Commodity Tester Certification Requirements Take Effect in 2025

Change to Take Effect on April 9

Starting April 9, 2025, a significant change will take effect for individuals seeking Ag Commodity Tester Certification (Grain Graders) in Ohio. Moving forward, certification will only be granted through attendance at a three-hour training session—testing alone will no longer fulfill the requirement.

Grain Grading Training Opportunities

To assist our members, OABA will host four ODA-approved Grain Grading Schools in 2025:

Both new and renewing testers will receive the same training and must sign a verification of attendance form. Instruction is provided by Eurofins Grain Inspection.
