Content and Membership Coordinator

Immediately seeking to hire a coordinator to support the membership, marketing, editorial and events for the International Ceramic Artists Network (ICAN) and the editorial products of the Ceramic Publications Company. 

ICAN is a membership organization that organizes ceramics-focused workshops and tours. The coordinator will work with the ICAN manager to implement the strategy and tactics of the organization by providing event/workshop/cultural tour logistics planning, and membership and Advisory Board support and will support the editorial staff on marketing campaigns, social media strategy, communication support to artists and authors, and general administration. 

This position will require a successful multitasker who possesses a Bachelor’s degree, effective communication skills, proficiency with Macintosh platform and Adobe Creative Cloud software. 

A minimum of one to two years of general office experience with a focus on customer service is required plus experience building email campaigns, including copywriting, using Emma or similar email platform, and performing web updates using a content management system such as WordPress.

A subsidiary of The American Ceramic Society (ACerS), the Ceramic Publications Company (CPC), serves the informational, educational, and professional needs of the ceramic arts community. CPC publishes Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated magazines, the Ceramic Arts Daily website (ceramicartsdaily.org), and operates the International Ceramic Artists Network (formerly the Potters Council) membership organization. CPC provides members and subscribers with periodicals, books and videos, workshops, meetings and expositions, and an online community.
