Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) announced 54,232 confirmed cases, 2,677 deaths and 8,173 hospitalizations. Additionally, the ODH is also reporting 3,724 probable cases and 250 additional deaths under an expanded case definition of COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC.) 

There have been a total of 8,173 hospitalizations linked to the coronavirus. The state indicated that there have been 40,813 presumed recoveries.
