Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) released the latest statistics tied to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. ODH reported 1,880 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in addition to 147 hospitalizations today. The previous record high was reported on Oct. 9 with 1,734 confirmed cases in a day.
It also reported 163,558 confirmed cases, 4,725 deaths and 16,561 hospitalizations. The department also reported 145,969 presumed recoveries.
ODH also reported 10,107 probable cases and 308 additional deaths under an expanded case definition of COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
