Can Budgeting Really be Fun?

Let’s face it: No one really enjoys working on their annual budget. But, there are many ways that you can revitalize this staid, often painful process and uncover new approaches that drive board and staff engagement.
How is this possible?
Find out at this 2.5 hour workshop where we will explore ways to re-imagine how your organization conducts business through the budgeting process. OSAE Member Kristy Spires, CPA, CAE, IOM, CGMA, CFO-Assistant Executive Director-Business Services, Ohio Education Association, will serve as the budgeting guru for this great session, which will provide tools to build a budget from scratch that addresses the organization’s priorities and strategies.
In addition to thought-provoking approaches to the budgeting process, there will be open discussion time to work through potential challenges, such as gaining staff buy-in and governance compliance.
Come prepared with a blank page and a sharpened pencil!

Credit Hours
As a CAE Approved Provider educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for one (1) credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.
Consent to use of photographic images: Registration and attendance at or participation in OSAE meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to OSAE’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image in photographs, videotapes, and electronic reproduction of such events and activities.
All cancellations by April 12, 2017 will be honored with a full refund. A 60 percent surcharge will be retained for cancellations received April 13-17, 2017. Onsite registration fees apply. No credits or refunds will be issued after that date. NO SHOWS WILL BE INVOICED.
