The heat advisory has been extended for most Ohio counties until 8 p.m. Saturday as sweltering temperatures continue to heat Ohio Valley. The advisory is set to expire at 8 p.m. Friday for some counties.
Wednesday marked the third straight day of a weeklong heat wave in Ohio bringing temperatures in the mid to high 90s.
The big difference Wednesday compared to Tuesday was the increase in humidity.
