City of Cleveland Institutes Curfew Over Floyd Protests
The curfew began at 8 p.m. this evening
The City of Cleveland instituted a curfew due to 'violence and unrest’ in the midst of the George Floyd protests erupting downtown by enacting a Proclamation of Civil Emergency from Civil Unrest.
The curfew starts at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 30, and will continue to 8 a.m. Sunday, May 31, according to the City of Cleveland.
The city said the curfew will continue from 8 p.m. Sunday, May 31, to 8 a.m. Monday, June 1.
