OSCPA Announces Leadership Transition
Wiley to step aside as Hay assumes the reins
- Establishing OSCPA as an industry leader in protecting and strengthening the CPA profession through innovative and dynamic legislation,
- Prioritizing the creation of one of the nation’s largest and most inclusive CPA pipelines and
- Elevating the influence of CPAs as trusted business advisors and counselors across all industries.
OSCPA announced this week that it was pleased to announce that Laura Hay, OSCPA’s executive vice president and a nationally respected thought leader, will succeed Wiley as president & CEO on Jan. 13, 2025. Laura will be the first female CEO and CPA to lead our century-old organization, bringing deep institutional knowledge to OSCPA’s mission. She has dedicated her career to OSCPA, enhancing the profession’s reputation and strengthening its impact across Ohio and beyond.
"Laura's extensive experience and proven leadership within OSCPA make her the ideal choice to lead us into the future," said Rick Fedorovich, CPA, the executive chairman of BMF CPAs and OSCPA board chair. "Her strategic vision and unwavering commitment to innovation will build on the stability, strength and success Scott has fostered. We are deeply grateful for Scott’s contributions and wish him every success in his next chapter."
Hay's principled leadership has consistently ensured that OSCPA stays ahead of the evolving needs of the CPA profession. Her commitment to the highest standards of quality, trust and innovation has been instrumental in positioning OSCPA as a forward-thinking organization.
“Laura is a leader who cares about developing people and building strong teams. I trust her—and more importantly, Ohio CPAs trust her,” Wiley said. “With Laura at the helm, OSCPA’s best days are ahead."
